PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The proposed project consists of rehabilitating an existing historic gymnasium building, originally constructed in the mid-1920s. Phase 1 scope includes repairs to the exterior envelope: repair of the concrete roof deck cracks and spalls, waterproofing roofing at the rooftop game court, repair of the exterior concrete wall cracks and spalls, repair of the exterior windows and doors, replacement of the parapet top chain link fence and light fixtures.
APPLICABLE TRADES:
Trades will include abatement, demolition, fencing, roofing, doors and hardware repair, window repair, glazing, painting, plaster, striping and signage, paving, rough carpentry, concrete, masonry, electrical, waterproofing, sheet metal, and landscaping.
THIS IS A PREVAILING WAGE PROJECT. Professional Labor Agreement (PLA) does not apply to this project.
INSURANCE:
Bidders shall provide the following insurance minimums: commercial general liability insurance products, completed operations, waiver of subrogation, protective coverage with non-owned & hired vehicles; $2 million each occurrence. Additional insured and hold harmless per endorsement CG 2010 form 1185 or equivalent, comprehensive automobile liability and Workman’s Compensation Insurance, including waiver of subrogation, for at least $1 mil each occurrence.
BONDING: Performance and labor bonding may be required; costs will be added to your proposal
